THE CREEPSHOW: A TRIBUTE TO STEPHEN KING

The past Friday marked the end a great art show run. I helped put on and participated in... The Creepshow: A Tribute to Stephen King. We had over 20 local artists show at the Downtown Contemporary Gallery for a month long exhibition. The local media was really supportive, as well as the Guild Cinema (for showing some of this films in conjunction with the show). This was one our biggest endeavors, and we were so amazed at it's success! Thanks to all of you who helped this possible

This is the gig poster I made for They Might Be Giants... for the show here in Albuquerque, at the Sunshine Theater. This poster was a lot of fun to make... and I'm really looking forward to the show!!

THE DUNGEON OF SPACE

This is a limited edition screen printed poster I made for a local theater... The Guild Cinema. They will be screening Escape from New York as part of the alibi Midnight Movie Madness. Excited for this one... It's my first movie poster!

ABQ COMIC EXPO 2013

Here are a few photos from last weekends Comic Expo, here in Albuquerque. It was a success, and we had a great time! My posters sold very well... I am nearly sold out of several editions... which is awesome. This means I better get busy and design some new stuff. Thanks to all of you who made it out this year... looking forward to the next!

WEEKLY ALIBI COVER

This is a cover I illustrated for one of our local papers, the weekly alibi. This edition has a green resource guide to our city.

"The end of the world is closer than you think. Even assuming it’s not brought on by a zombie plague or alien invasion, Earth's finite cache of natural resources are drizzling down to the last few drops after a century of wanton gluttony. Sustainability, rather than just fancy cocktail conversation, is now a matter of survival; we need to ration our remaining resources for long enough to invent other solutions. Adopting a more sustainable lifestyle, through energy conservation and local sufficiency, is not necessarily a solution in itself, but it will help buy time against civilization's looming collapse. If the apocalypse happened tomorrow, could you survive? Could you produce your own food, shelter, water and energy? Now's a good time to start thinking about it."

Our Group Art Show ANTIHERO was a great success! The Boro Gallery was packed on opening night with friends, family and art lovers. We would like to thank the weekly alibi for letting me design the cover for the week of our show. We would also like to thank the Local iQ magazine for writing an article previewing the event. ANTIHERO: GROUP ART EXHIBITION

On March 1st, I will participate in a group show with two of my artist friends! I have made two new prints for the exhibition. A Game of Thrones inspired Raven print on parchment paper, and a Skeletor in the style of Dia de los Muertos. I'm excited to show theses pieces in the gallery, and to share them with family and friends!

QUEEN ALIEN PRINT

This is a poster I've illustrated and screen printed for my booth at Albuquerque Comic Con... coming up this weekend. It's a 4 color hand pulled print, based on one of my favorite movies of all time... ALIENS!

OPERATION ART BOX

Operation Art Box was a contest held by weekly alibi. I was chosen, along with 11 other artists, to modify one of their distribution boxes. The 12 artists received supply reimbursement, local brewery beer money, and a month long show of their finished boxes (along with other hanging work) at the Boro gallery downtown. Then the boxes found homes around the city. I'm really pleased where mine ended up. Plus, the alibi was kind enough to use my box art for the cover of this week's issue! BUMBERSHOOT TOTE BAG

I had entered a contest by Creative Allies to design merchandise for Bumbershoot Seattle's Music & Arts Festival... and I won! At the Toyota Free Yr Radio stage, they had my design live screen printed on tote bags for all attendees. CALI SHAW

This is a poster I designed for local Albuquerque musician, Cali Shaw. It will be available at the release party for his new album, Winter Bloom.
